Twins Clubs are a great way of meeting other multiple parents in your area. Most twins clubs offer support as well as facilities for your twins to play whilst you have a cup of coffee and a chat with other mums. Many twins clubs are happy for you to join whilst you are pregnant with your twins which can be comforting.
Some twins clubs have nearly new sales two or three times a year which are great opportunities to pick up second hand baby equipment, clothes, toys and double buggies at a reasonable cost.
The facilities offered by twins clubs vary from club to club and can include:
- nights out,
- picnics in the park,
- hairdressing facilities,
- discounts from local stores,
- babysitting circles,
- some even offer food (lunch or tea).
The best way of finding out what is on offer at a twins club in your area is to either email the contact for your nearest club, give them a call or visit their website for details of meetings.

Newcastle Twins (or More) Group
We run a weekly baby and toddler group at St Martin's Centre, Roman Avenue, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 2RJ (for directions call 0191 2764002). We
Meet every Friday at 10.00am until 12.00pm.
We employ a creche worker to help out. During these sessions, there is a variety of toys and equipment suitable from birth, a sticky activity for the older ones, a healthy snack and a sing along! We also have access to a secure garden. There is a weekly fee of £2.00 per family attending (cost covers creche worker and children's parties). We hold other events for families as well as bowling nights and meals out etc.

Teesside Twins Group
The Teesside Twins group are currently meeting once a month.
Currently we are meeting at Scruton village hall, Ainderby Steeple,
near Northallerton from 10 am till 12.30.
We are looking at relocating to the Teesside area if there are more
people that would like to come.
